The processed products are very diverse, mixed with many ingredients and were highly appreciated and enjoyed by the participants after tasting them.

The deeply processed products fit the current trend of busy consumers with little time to cook. These products also provide companies with better profit margins. In addition, Vietnam has the advantage of a high level of processing and worker skills.

The closed, high-tech production process of value-added products will ensure the preservation of the fresh flavor of seafood, while increasing productivity with high-quality products.

"Vietnamese seafood: sustainable destination" was the slogan of Vietnamese seafood at the fair. A green and clean fishing industry, which aims at sustainable development.

The EU remains Vietnam's main seafood consumer market

In 2023, Vietnamese seafood exports to the EU reached more than $954 million, down 27% from 2022. Most key Vietnamese seafood exports to the EU market will decline sharply due to to the impact of the EU economic recession. and volatile global conditions directly and indirectly affect Vietnam's seafood exports. Only tuna products experienced a reversal, increasing by 6.4%, reaching 176 million dollars. It can be seen that the EU has long been one of the traditional major markets for Vietnamese seafood from the beginning to today, so maintaining the presence of Vietnamese seafood at the Global Seafood Expo is always a top priority.
